Veterans Tournament 2025 at Cantigny Golf
On October 7th, RevelationGolf held its Annual Veterans Golf Tournament at Cantigny Golf in Wheaton. This annual event allows our veterans to put their skills to the test and have some fun while doing so. Veterans for all our programs participated and despite the cool temps and misty rain, it was w wonderful day. After golf, our veterans were treated to lunch with awards for course contests. Golf is much more than a game for our veterans, as it builds socialization, camaraderie and self confidence to participate in other activities and enjoy life with other veterans. RevelationGolf is thankful to Cantigny Golf for hosting this event with us and all our supporters who make our programs possible.

Veterans Golf Day 2025 at Cog Hill and The Chicago District Golf Association Bob Berry Sunshine Course Servings Veterans from Jesse Browm VAMC and Hines VA
On September 16th, RevelationGolf was able to host its Annual Veterans Golf Day at Cog Hill and The Bob Berry Sunshine Course at the Chicago District Golf Association. The day began with an instructional clinic at Cog Hill, before going over to the CDGA for lunch. After lunch our veterans participated in the 2Club Challenge on the Bob Berry Sunshine Course and the skills course set up on the putting green. Special thanks to Randy Heinrich at Cog Hill for assisting us and setting up the instruction clinic. Also, to our PGA/LPGA Teachers; Cory Ferrell, Jennifer Ferrel, Terry Russell, Matt Tullar and RevelationGolf’s own, Kathy Williams, for their time, expertise, and support in teaching our veterans. Our program continues to help our veterans in their recovery and healing, using the game of golf as a therapeutic tool. Special Thanks to the Chicago District Golf Association for sponsoring this event with RevelationGolf.

On September 10th, RevelationGolf was able to host its Annual Veterans Golf Day at Veterans Memorial. After lunch, veterans participated in an instructional clinic, before heading out on the course to play. After golf, awards were giving for long putt and closest to the pin. This year we were again grateful to have the medical leadership from the Mental Health Program at Lovell, come and participate in our event. Our program continues to seek to help our veterans in their recovery and healing, using the game of golf as a therapeutic tool. Special Thanks to the Chicago District Golf Association for sponsoring this event with RevelationGolf.

RevelationGolf is once again teaming up with the Illinois PGA Foundation to provide PGA HOPE golf clinics for veterans. This year’s clinics will take place at Pine Meadow Golf Course in Mundelein and Veteran’s Memorial in Great Lakes IL. These free golf clinics include PGA Professional instruction, access to the range and short game practice area, as well as, course play on the final day.
Before the clinics took place, RevelationGolf provide our specialized education program to member of the Illinois PGA to train them to work with veterans and individuals with unique needs. This education program, helps PGA professionals to teach those who learn differently due to differing physical needs. It also helps our PGA professional learn more about the veteran experience. Through practical simulations, PGA Professionals get just a taste of how to teach those who have limitations, the game golf.
